The Basic Bluetooth System Architecture

The system architecture for Bluetooth is briefly described here.

The system design has been segmented into various almost independent

layers for conceptual ease of description. These layers are described in

detail in the core Bluetooth specifications. The design specifications also

describe certain properties for certain common classes of applications

to be implemented over Bluetooth to achieve uniformity across diverse

manufacturers. These are described in profiles of the Bluetooth
