CONTENT ADVISOR fix
For Content Advisor errors on any 32 bit version of Windows.
1. Find or search the C: drive for the file RATINGS.POL and delete it.
2. Go to regedit >click “start” click “run” type in the word regedit hit enter
3. To back up the registry .. click file ….click …export and save the registry to the desk top
4. In the Registry click the plus sign in front of “ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE”
click the + sign in front of “Software”
click the + sign in front of “Microsoft”
click the + sign in front of “Windows”
click the + sign in front of “Current Version”
click the + sign in front of “Polices” Hi-light the word “Ratings” and delete it
5. Exit the registry editor and reboot the computer
The next time you visit a rated site if prompted for a password they will need to create one and confirm it
